This was
the first PCR release and the first collection of enough
rope's 'work'. 'Bursting' onto the 'scene' in late
2001 with a recording budget of zero and a sound quality
to match, this was actually surprisingly good, considering.
At least 2 of these songs were featured on PFA buddy
Phat C's student film, 'Where Did Summer Go?'. Cool.
That's some indie cred right there.
This was also the first release whose music was overshadowed
by some quality artwork, courtesy of Tina Toth. This
cover was the start of a really cool love story which
I'll bore you with over a pint if you want. Originally,
the sky was not pink. Blame my printer. The black-and-white
version later appeared on PCR004, and the original
is now up on the wall in my room. Awww. I love this
photo.
'Is This?' may be re-recorded someday, cos I really
like it. :) |
