This
is, frankly, a fucking shambles, but hey, I don't really
count it as a proper CD anyhow. The first five tracks
are all original 'compositions', hahaha. There's a
short acoustic 'comfortflows', which I did for no reason
other than I was messing around with an acoustic, and
'everything else is nothing' was later re-recorded
to go on some kind of new album in the near future,
so I just put all these demos together here. Then there's
a bunch of best-forgotten 'singing' covers, namely:
'sappy' (Nirvana), 'red' (Elbow), 'teenage angst' (Placebo),
'seven' (Sunny Day Real Estate) and 'soothe' (Smashing
Pumpkins). Which are all a bit of a waste of time.
I like 'without you i'm nothing', which is actually
the only electric song on here, it's a cover of another
Placebo song. And then I did 'let down' acoustically
which sounds quite nice except I accidentally recorded
the metrnome in the background which I was attempting
to ignore. Oh well.
The 'art'work was done by me, and the CD comes in a
cool little cardboard sleeve. Nice. |
