More
beautifully-photgraphed Croatian scenery here, this
time in black and white for artistic effect. Tina rules
and you know it.
MIDI experimenting and drum loops seem to have inadvertently
disappeared from the enough rope Big Bag Of Tricks,
to be replaced by backwards-looping pissing around
(see: 'a few faltering steps', 'keys'), which is less
interesting than it sounds. This CD isn't as long as
it's 18 tracks make it look, there's a lot of 60-second
link tracks on here doing not much but sounding okay.
It's generally more of the same moody noodling from
'a short distance', but it has some nice tracks on
it, particularly 'i'm tired today', the title track,
'man preaching' and 'and sometimes when i sleep', a
vocal version of which is...somewhere. Singing is bad
though, folks. Mine especially.
Should probably get out of the habit of putting the
big long track at the end, but hey, at least this one
doesn't do the quiet-loud thing. So that's something
to be thankful for.
