This is the first enough rope album with no 'loud bits' in it, and it's all the better for it. I figured it would be a good idea to drop the badly-recorded distortion until I could get some well-recorded distortion. This is also shorter than the other CDs, cos...well, it just is. Anyway, this was all pretty stress-free, it took 3 sessions to finish, so probably about 7 or 8 hours in total. My favourites are the first 3 tracks, plus 'tihome' Aside from some messing around with backwardsness on 'leave the last place burning' and 'primitive', this is mostly straightforward. But better than that makes it sounds. It's not like Stereophonics-type straightforward. I hope. I don't wanna grow a big curly perm and start presenting a TV show.

Actually, I do.

This one has another really pretty cover, and obviously that had nothing to do with me. Lavish your praise for that on Miss Tina Toth of Zagreb, Croatia.
