This album was the quickest thing I've ever done, I did this in two sessions and probably about 7 hours in total. It was a triumph of experimentation. Although 'experimentation' is probably too grand a word for it. I guess you could just call it messing around. My favourite songs on this album were pretty much the ones I made up on the spot. For instance, 'Approach' was just gonna be 90 seconds of feedback to start the CD off, but I started adding bits of guitar and it ended up pushing the 9-minute mark and sounded like someone from GYBE tuning up. I seem to be moving towards fewer, longer tracks, I guess cos I liked a lot of my older stuff that went nowhere slowly, but with a nice melody. So, 'Meet Jesus' is probably my favourite from here. Anyway, I do actually really like this CD, it's kinda...sparse. I dunno if that's a good thing. But it works.

I also LOVE this cover. This was a Tina one, cos hell, I couldn't re-use that fucking photo I took again. Haha. But seriously, I love it. Tina thinks it looks 'heavy metal', but then she is insane. And artists are always crap at appreciating their own shit.

How many fucking albums was this in 2002? And the Strokes only wrote like 14 songs EVER. Wankers. Cut your hair!
